Frequently Asked Questions

Below is a list of common questions we get from people before they come along to our kids football sessions

Can I just turn up ?

While you don't need to let us know every week if you are attending, we do ask that to register you get in touch with us so we have your contact details and can add your child to the register before the day to save time on the morning.

Do you play in Rain ?

Yes we play in rain, we only cancel sessions due to weather if there is snow settled on the grass, the ground is frozen or if there is thunder and lightning, these are all for safety reasons, unfortunately rain is common and its often the best weather for playing football.

How can I pay ?

You can pay by cash, contactless on the day, you can pay as you play or monthly by card or via direct debit.

Do you run through school holidays and on Bank Holiday weekends ?

Yes.

Can girls play ?

Yes, we don't have a specific girls group but boys and girls are welcome and we often have girls in all age groups.

My child shares custody between Mum and Dad so can only make it some weeks, is this possible?

Yes this is common and we can accommodate this just let us know what best suits you.

Do we need to bring any equipment or kit ?

No equipment required as all balls etc provided, in terms of kit we recommend football boots if possible, usually the very younge ages up to 6 it may be difficult to find boots as they only start at a certain size. Otherwise comfortable clothing and trainers will be fine. We recommend shin pads for all ages. We do sell a training kit.

Can we drop off and collect ?

No, we don't recommend parents drop off and collect their child, we recommend that parents stay for the duration of the session.

My child is, or going through testing to see if they are, on the autism spectrum, can they attend ?

Yes, we often have children on the spectrum attend, we do ask that parents stay for the session but this is no different from any child as above.

My child has just turned "insert age" so can they move up a group ?

While we use age as a guideline to split the children into groups, if the coach feels they will benefit more from being in a certain group your child will be put in the appropriate group. Certain factors may be - Big for their age, small for their age, physical ability, where the child feels more comfortable. Basically your child should be in the group where they have the most success, just moving a child up a group on their birthday may be detrimental to their enjoyment or football development.
